£4,000 Compensation for Pedestrian Knocked Down on Zebra Crossing

13th November 2006

A pedestrian involved in a road accident in August 2004 has recovered £4,000 compensation with the help of our solicitors.

Road Accident

James Broom, a butcher from Devon, was crossing a road in Cullompton using a zebra crossing. A driver failed to give way to him and drove onto the crossing, knocking the client to the ground.

He suffered knee injuries as a result of the road accident and was unable to attend work for two months.

Compensation Claim

With expert assistance from our solicitors, a successful compensation claim was made against the insurance company of the driver responsible for the accident, in respect of James’ personal injury.

This has been a big help to him, as he was made redundant following his return to work. Mr Broom commented: “I doubt I would have had such good legal representation and secured so much compensation if I’d simply used the solicitors offered by my insurer.”
