Taxi Passenger Injured in Head-on Collision

Road Accident
Our client was a passenger in a taxi when her road accident occurred. The weather conditions were such that ice and snow was on the ground and, as the taxi was proceeding along a residential street, an oncoming driver lost control and veered across the road into its path.
Although the taxi driver braked and attempted to avoid the other car, he was not travelling slowly enough to be able to do so and the vehicles collided. Our client suffered injuries to her neck, back and shoulder as a result of the impact and she was left very shaken by what happened.
She suffered pain and discomfort for several months and it was some time before she felt comfortable travelling in a car as a driver or passenger.
