Compensation for Whiplash Injury in Road Accident Claim

Our expert lawyers recently recovered compensation for a man who suffered a personal injury in a road accident that was not his fault.

Car Accident

The claimant was driving along a road in a built up area, travelling at low speed due to speed bumps in the road. There was another car behind him and, due to the driver following too closely and at too great a speed, it collided with the rear of the claimant’s vehicle.

As a result of this car accident our client suffered whiplash injuries to his neck and shoulder. He was initially examined at hospital after the accident occurred, then he required time off from work and physiotherapy treatment in order to recover.

Personal Injury Claim

The claimant felt that the other driver’s negligence caused the accident, so instructed our specialist personal injury lawyers, who have extensive experience in road accident cases, to assist him in making a claim for damages.

They negotiated with the third party insurers and were able to secure a settlement of £6350 compensation.
